1Life’s WhatsApp service centre is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can retrieve your policy schedule on WhatsApp and check all your details, including cover and premium amounts, beneficiary and contact details. And, if you have a 1Life Insurance life policy you can update your personal details. If you can’t find what you’re looking for login to the 1Life online policyholder portal for more services and assistance.
What you can do on WhatsApp right now
We have a number of services available on WhatsApp for new and existing clients.
For new and existing policyholders

Whether you are a new client or 1Life Insurance policyholder looking to increase your cover or take out new insurance such as life cover or disability or dread disease, you can request a quote on WhatsApp!
For all policyholders
On our WhatsApp service centre, all 1Life Insurance policyholders can:
- Retrieve policy schedules, so you can view all your policy details including type of cover, sum assured and beneficiary details.
- Request a call back from one of our customer service consultants if you want to update any personal details such as contact or banking details.
- Request a call back from one of our sales team if you want to take out a new policy.
For life insurance policyholders
Not only can 1Life Insurance life cover policyholders retrieve policy schedules to view policy and personal details, they can also update some of these on WhatsApp
You can view all your important policy details including:
- Type of cover
- Sum assured
- Beneficiary details
- Premium details, how much and your debit order date
You can also view your personal details on our WhatsApp service centre:
- Your name
- Contact details
- Address
- Banking details for your debit order
If you have a 1Life Insurance life policy you can update your personal details online, including:
- Address
- Contact details
- Banking details
There are two additional services 1Life Insurance life policyholders can use on WhatsApp:
- Find a pharmacy where you can book your HIV test

For any other change, such as changing your beneficiary, you can request a call back and one of our skilled 1Life Insurance consultants will contact you and assist with any changes and queries.
